Builders Get Low Inventory Boost
Housing Wire reported some interesting insights into the current housing market. Builder confidence continues to rise as existing home inventory continues to fall. We have seen builder confidence increase for the 4th straight month, after a year of decreases. One third of housing inventory is currently new construction. Builders continue to use sales incentives this year to support new home sales as buyers are on the rise.
