Solar Homes

Interesting perspective on states beginning to require solar energy systems for new construction homes. Rhode Island followed suit with California leading this conversation. It will be interesting to see how this requirement will continue to impact the housing industry if other states join the conversation. Rhode Island’s requirement entails the solar energy system should be large enough to meet 80% of the estimated electrical use.
